The Sixers employed a very effective counter to the Bucks' defense in last week's matchup. How it worked—and where there's still room to grow.

I’ve spent a lot of time writing about Milwaukee’s defensive strategy, but I haven’t spent as much time on the opposite question: how do you beat a Bucks defense that walls off the rim and sticks to your best shooters? Play a conventional offense and you’ll end up like everyone else does, forcing difficult shots in the paint, taking lower percentages long twos, or with the ball in the hands of your worst shooters.
