In this feature, I aim to bring you inside a game-morning film session. Shootaround takes a game and assigns each team to a contributing former coach to prepare as if they were coaching that game. We then put it together into a package that is very similar to the format that is delivered to NBA players on game day.

Today’s Shootaround features Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Since the game is on Sunday and we don’t publish on Sunday, we’re running this a little early. You can watch the game on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on ABC.
